Story: This outhouse is located at the trailhead for the Halemau’u trail in Halealaka National Park. John and I left our car here and hitchhiked to the Sliding Sands trailhead for the start of our volcano crater hike.

Story: This fine specimen is located on Milolii Beach, which is only accessible by boat. Anna and I visited it while on a sea kayaking trip along the Na Pali coast.
